Here we go!

Well, I now feel like a student again. I have my first assignment and just like in high school, I waited to get started. Dr Huxford (Vice President for Student Development and Dean of the Chapel) has given an assignment to all incoming freshmen. By the time classes start on August 14th, we have to have read Amazing Grace: William Wilberforce and the Heroic Campaign to End Slavery. Yes, this is the book oh which the recent movie Amazing Grace was based. I found the book yesterday (Books-A-Million was the only place who had it) and I am going to start it today. I have just over 3 weeks to read it. It looks like it should be pretty good so expect to see some blog posts about it soon.
